In all honesty, I started in the food and beverage industry somewhat by accident, but despite that, I fell deeply in love with the focused and detailed processes involved in creating beautiful food. After working in the industry as a prep and pastry cook for a few years, I decided it was time to pursue my passion for culinary arts by attending culinary school, where I could explore the savory side of the kitchen. I had an amazing time in school and graduated from the AB Tech Culinary Arts Program in 2017. Since then, I have gained experience completing several new restaurant openings, teaching in a non-profit culinary program, and working as a Private Chef for the past several years.
My current obsession is seared sea scallops with a miso beurre blanc. The umami of the miso meets the natural sweetness of the scallops, creating an excellent bite that showcases the skills of a Chef.
In my role as a Chef, I love working with and studying all aspects of world cuisines . Every day is a new opportunity to learn and I can never get bored. We had the pleasure of hiring Chef Amber for our celebration and were absolutely thrilled with the experience. The chef was incredibly professional, timely, friendly, and accommodating. The flowers they brought for the event were a beautiful touch. The main course of halibut was terrific, and the dessert presentation of macarons on the island was top-notch. And just when we thought it couldn't get better, she brought out a tiramisu cheesecake that honestly left us speechless. My wife has not stopped talking about that dessert for two days — it was that memorable! Chef Amber didn’t just prepare a meal — she gave us an experience we’ll never forget.
